The Loop Duty Free is the only authorised reseller of Apple products at Auckland Airport.
Change of Mind Returns
If you wish to return an item because you have changed your mind about your purchase, The Loop Duty Free reserves the right to grant or refuse a refund or exchange. In the event The Loop Duty Free determines a refund or exchange will be granted, the following conditions must first be met:
- You will need to produce your order confirmation from The Mall for the item
- The item is in resalable condition including that:
- It is in its original packaging, including instruction manuals and all accessories
- It is unworn, unopened, unused and in its original condition; and that
- The product is not one on which a change of mind return is not available (see below).
If these requirements are not satisfied The Loop Duty Free reserves the right to refuse a refund for change of mind returns.
Goods on which a change of mind return is not available:
The Loop Duty Free will not accept the return of items from the following categories under the change of mind returns policy under any circumstances:
- Cosmetics and Skincare
- Mobile Phones
- Headphones/ Earphones
- Consumables (perishable products)
These products can still be returned if they are faulty, not fit for purpose or do not match the sample or description.
The Loop Duty Free will accept product returns and provide you with replacement, refund or repair where:
- The product is faulty or is not of acceptable quality; or
- The product does not match the sample or our description; and
- You can present your order confirmation from The Mall for the item or other adequate proof of purchase.
Please note, in the case of electrical and electronic products The Loop Duty Free may elect to return the product to the manufacturer's repair agent to determine the nature of the problem.
If the product is determined to be faulty, not of merchantable quality, not fit for purpose or not matching a description or sample The Loop Duty Free will meet their obligations under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act to provide a remedy.
If you cannot present your your order confirmation from The Mall or other acceptable proof of purchase The Loop Duty Free reserves the right not to offer a refund or exchange.
In the case of electrical and electronic products we can refer you to the manufacturer's customer support for assistance with operating difficulties or product repairs. The manufacturer's customer hotline number should be included with the information supplied with your product.
Where you seek a refund for any item that was purchased as part of a 'deal', The Loop Duty Free may refund the price in accordance with deal eligibility. No refund will be given on free items and any refund amount may be recalculated if your return results in deal eligibility no longer being met.
If you are experiencing operating difficulties with electrical, electronic or other similar products we recommend you first contact the manufacturer's customer support before returning the product. Many operating difficulties can be quickly solved with the right advice. The manufacturer's customer hotline number should be included with the information supplied with your product.
In evaluating requests The Loop Duty Free Reserves the Right to
Assess the condition and age of returned goods prior to providing a repair, exchange or refund. This may result in a repair; exchange or refund being refused.
- Your order confirmation from The Mall for the item is the best form of proof of purchase
- Please return any accessories and manuals supplied with product

Accuracy of Content
The prices displayed on The Loop products on The Mall are subject to change from time to time. The current price for any product shown represents the price it is intended you will be charged. Any variation to the price shown must have been made available to you, and accepted by you, before your order is accepted by us.
We have taken reasonable precautions to try to ensure that prices displayed on The Mall are correct and that all products have been fairly described. However, when ordering products through The Mall, please note:
(a) that orders will only be accepted if there are no material errors in the description of the products or prices as advertised ;
(b) packaging may vary from that shown and the weight, dimensions and capacities shown are approximate only; and
(c) whilst we try to supply images for the colours of our products accurately, the actual colours you see may be affected by your monitor and we cannot guarantee that your monitor's display of any colour will accurately reflect the colour of the product you will collect.
We will try to ensure that the prices and all other information are accurate, but we exclude our liability, to the fullest extent permitted by law, for any errors.
All the products displayed are subject to availability and order quotas that may apply. We do not guarantee that all products dispalyed are in stock and are available to order, but we will use our reasonable endeavours to meet your requirements.
We endeavour to maintian consistency between the prices displayed and those in store. If you have made an order on The Mall, we are under no obligation to honour any instore promotion that differs from the price you paid at the time your purchase.
Acceptance of Your Order
Any email or acknowledgement by us of receipt of an order placed by you on The Mall does not mean that we have accepted your order. Acceptance of your order and completion of the contract between you and ARI Auckland Limited (trading as The Loop Duty Free) will take place when you collect the products ordered at the Auckland Airport Collection Point. We reserve the right, where necessary, not to accept your order for any reason.
All products that you order will remain the property of ARI Auckland Limited (trading as The Loop Duty Free) until payment is made and the products are collected by you at the Auckland Airport Collection Point in Auckland International Airport.
For the avoidance of doubt an order placed, even when we confirm receipt of such order shall not constitute an agreement for the sale or purchase of products but instead constitutes an offer by you to buy from us. The contract for the sale of any products will only be completed upon your presenting at the Auckland Airport Collection Point and our transferring the products into your possession, at which point ownership and risk of damage to or loss of the product(s) passes to you.
Revenue and Customs Requirements
We do not accept any liability for your compliance or otherwise with local or international revenue requirements, any taxation obligations, or any other customs' requirements that might apply to you and/or the products that you order.
YOU ARE ADVISED TO SATISFY YOURSELF PRIOR TO ORDERING ANY PRODUCTS THAT THE PURCHASE OF THE PRODUCTS WILL NOT PUT YOU IN BREACH OF ANY OF YOUR OBLIGATIONS WITH REGARD TO REVENUE, OTHER TAXATION LIABILITIES OR CUSTOMS REQUIREMENTS AND TO ENSURE THAT YOU ARE FULLY INFORMED OF ALL SUCH OBLIGATIONS PRIOR TO MAKING ANY RESERVATION THROUGH THE SERVICE.
All prices are shown in NZ$ exclusive of GST. You will be required to show personal idenitifcation when you present at the Auckland Airport Collection Point to collect your order.
Limitation of our Liability
If we are liable to you for direct losses arising out of or in connection with any breach of these Terms and Conditions or the Service, our aggregate liability to you, howsoever arising, will not in any circumstances exceed the total price charged for the products. We will not be liable or responsible for any loss that is caused by you, or any loss that results from your failure to take reasonable steps to avoid or minimise your loss; or for any loss of data, profits or any consequential, indirect or special damage, suffered by you or any other person or if we are unable to provide you with the Service, or carry out our obligations to you under these Terms and Conditions due to an event or circumstance beyond our control.
You will be responsible for and accept liability to us for your breach of contract or negligence.
We have no responsibility for and shall not be liable for any breach of these Terms & Conditions caused by circumstances beyond our control.
You may not assign, sub-license or otherwise transfer any of your rights under these Terms & Conditions.
If you breach these Terms & Conditions and we do not take, or delay in taking, any action, that will not operate as a waiver of our rights or adversely affect our ability to rely on these Terms & Conditions.
We reserve the right to change and update these Terms & Conditions from time to time and recommend that you revisit this page regularly to keep informed of the current Terms & Conditions that apply to when purchasing with us.
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand and the courts of New Zealand shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute relating to or involving these Terms & Conditions.
