Terms and Conditions

1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS 

   Information produced by us on how to enter the competition draw and prizes for the competition draw forms part of these Terms. By entering the competition draw, you are deemed to accept these Terms. We reserve the right, in our sole discretion and at any time, to replace or amend these Terms or to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the competition.

    

2. ELIGIBILITY

   1. There will be three weekly prize draws in the last three weeks of November 2024: during week commencing 11 November 2024, week commencing 18 November 2024, and week commencing 25 November 2024 (each a “Prize Draw Week”).

   2. The weekly draw is open to travellers (over the age of 18 years) who make a qualifying purchase (minimum spend of $150 in one transaction) (“Qualifying Purchase”) on The Mall.co.nz between Monday to Sunday of each Prize Draw Week.

   3. You are not eligible to enter the competition draw if you are our employee, or an employee of any company (including Auckland Airport, Aelia, PB Tech, Saben, Mountain Jade or any other Duty Free store or retailer) that sells on The Mall, or directly associated with the competition, or directly involved in providing a prize for the competition, or an immediate family member of such employees.

   4. Acting reasonably, we may exclude any person from entering into the competition draw.
       

3. ENTRY

   1. The promotional period runs from 12 November 2024 to 2 December 2024 inclusive (“Promotional Period”).

   2. You may enter the weekly competition by making a Qualifying Purchase on The Mall.co.nzduring the Promotional Period.

   3. Shoppers can only purchase on The Mall.co.nz if they are travelling.

   4. Each time you complete a Qualifying Purchase on The Mall.co.nz (of $150 or more in the same transaction) you will automatically be entered into the draw for that Prize Draw Week. Each completed Qualifying Purchase will qualify as one entry into the draw for that week.  Multiple completed Qualifying Purchases during the same Prize Draw Week will qualify as multiple entries for that Prize Draw Week.

   5. Your entire cart counts for one entry for that Prize Draw Week.

   6. If you want to enter the draw each week you must complete a Qualifying Purchase each Prize Draw Week.

   7. Shoppers must spend a minimum of $150 in a single purchase to go in the draw for the Prize Draw Week

   8. We cannot accept responsibility for any lost, misplaced, illegible, damaged, stolen, late or incomplete entries.

   9. We reserve the right to extend or change the Promotional Period. 
       

4. PRIZES

   During each Prize Draw Week, Auckland International Airport will be giving away 1 x $500 voucher to spend on The Mall.co.nz (“Prize”). There are a total of three $500 Prizes to be won.  The Conditions that apply to the Prizes are:

   1. Prizes must be spent on The Mall.co.nz within 12 months of the date of issue.

   2. The winner must redeem their Prize in one purchase.  No change will be given.

   3. Prizes cannot be redeemed for cash and cannot be transferred or exchanged. 

   4. The Prize is taken entirely at the prize winner's own risk. We will not be liable for any loss, damage or injury (including but not limited to any indirect or consequential loss) suffered or incurred by you or any other person as a result of or in connection with the competition or any prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. 

   5. We may amend or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. 

   6. These Terms and Conditions are governed by New Zealand law and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts. 
       

5. WINNING

   1. Winners will be determined by random draw to take place on the Monday following the week of entry into the draw. Only the person who originally entered the competition draw is eligible to win a Prize.

   2. We will notify each Prize winner by email at the email address provided when entering the draw,setting out the details of how the Prize can be claimed.

   3. If a Prize winner fails to claim the Prize within 31 days of initially being notified, the Prize will be forfeited. In those circumstances, we reserve the right to offer the prize either to the entrant whose name is next drawn at random or in a future competition.

   4. We may, at any time, verify the validity of a person that has entered the competition draw (including a person’s identify, age and place of residence). 

   5. We may refuse to award the Prize to any person who has, in our view, acted in a fraudulent manner, breached these Terms or gained an unfair advantage in participating in the competition.

   6. We are committed to respecting your privacy at all times. By entering the Competition you agree to our Privacy Policy that can be found here.

   7. Our determination of the prize winners will be final and binding, and no correspondence or other communication will be entered into.
       

6. DEFINED TERMS AND INTERPRETATION

   In these Terms, the following words have the following special meanings:
   "Terms" means these competition terms and conditions (as amended from time to time);
   "we", "our", "us" means Auckland International Airport Limited; and
   "you" means a person entering the competition.
