Description
Apple Mac Mini Intel 8th Gen CPU - Space Grey Intel Core i5 6-Core Processor - 8GB DDR4 RAM - 512GB PCIe-Based SSD - Intel UHD Graphics 630 - While Stocks Last

Mac mini - Re-engineered in no small way.
- New eighth-generation 6-core and quad-core processors
- Faster 2666MHz DDR4 memory
- Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C), HDMI 2.0 and available 10Gb Ethernet
- Blazing-fast all-flash storage with up to a 2TB SSD

Processors - Part racehorse. All workhorse.
In addition to being a great desktop computer, Mac mini powers everything from home automation to giant render farms. And now with eighth-generation Intel quad-core and 6-core processors and Intel UHD Graphics 630, Mac mini has even more compute power for industrial-grade tasks. So whether you’re running a live concert sound engine or testing your latest iOS or iPadOS app, Mac mini is the shortest distance between a great idea and a great result.

Memory - Climb in. Geek out.
Mac mini features high-performance 2666MHz DDR4 SO-DIMM memory for faster rendering, working with massive files or running multiple virtual machines. And now you can configure even more memory — to run even heavier workloads.

Storage - Apps on the double.
Mac mini now includes all-flash PCIe-based storage, with up to four times the read speeds of previous flash options. So you can load giant files and launch apps faster than ever.

Apple T2 Security Chip - Next-generation security.
Mac mini features the Apple T2 Security Chip — second-generation custom-engineered Mac silicon designed by Apple to make Mac mini even more secure. The T2 Security Chip consolidates several controllers into one, and includes a Secure Enclave coprocessor that provides the foundation for encrypted storage and secure boot capabilities.

Strength in numbers.
Mac mini is optimised for performance across the board. Here’s how it compares to the previous generation.

Connections and Expansion - I/O, I/O, it’s off to work you go.
With a variety of ports, Mac mini is ready for a variety of workflow configurations. Thunderbolt 3 is our most powerful and versatile port ever — and Mac mini has four of them. The new HDMI 2.0 port delivers more bandwidth than its predecessor, so you can enjoy faster frame rates. And now Mac mini can be configured with 10Gb Ethernet so it’s ready to move mountainous files and monstrous data up to 10 times faster.
Thunderbolt 3 gives you some seriously productive possibilities. Transfer data at up to 40 Gbps. Charge and power external devices. Connect up to two 4K displays — and even a third with HDMI 2.0 — or one 5K display. Or pair Mac mini with an eGPU for desktop-class graphics performance.

Versatility - To the desktop. And beyond.
Because of its size, performance and wide array of ports, Mac mini goes where no Mac has gone before. And now with even more cores packed into its 19.7-centimetre-square frame, you never know where you’ll find a Mac mini — or dozens of them — hard at work.

As an international traveller you are entitled to bring a certain amount/value of goods that are free of Customs duty and exempt Goods and Services tax (GST) into New Zealand. This is called your duty free allowance and personal goods concession. It is important to review these for any purchases you make on The Mall.

Your duty free allowance entitles you to bring into New Zealand the following quantities of alcohol products free of customs duty and GST provided you are over 17 years of age. You do need to be 18 years or over to purchase.

  • Up to six bottles (4.5 litres) of wine, champagne, port or sherry or
  • Up to twelve cans (4.5 litres) of beer

Goods other than alcohol and tobacco, whether purchased overseas or purchased duty free in New Zealand, that have a combined total value not exceeding NZ$700 may also be brought as part of your personal goods concession.

When travelling overseas there are legal limits on the amount of duty free alcohol and other goods you can take with you. These amounts will vary depending on the country you are flying into. We always recommend you check the latest limits and exemptions.
