Terms and Conditions - Weekly Draw
 

1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

• (a) The Mall 7th Birthday Competition ("Competition") is conducted by Auckland International Airport Limited (“Auckland Airport"). The Competition runs from 12.01am on 1 June 2025 to 11.59pm on 30 June 2025 (“Promotional Period”).
• (b) Information produced by us on how to enter the competition draw and prizes for the competition draw forms part of these Terms. By entering the competition draw, you are deemed to accept these Terms. We reserve the right, in our sole discretion and at any time, to replace or amend these Terms or to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the competition.
• (c) These terms and conditions incorporate Our Privacy Policy and Our Acceptable Use Policy. It is important that you read and understand these terms and conditions before entering the Competition.

2. ELIGIBILITY

• (a) The Competition draw is open to New Zealand residents that are at least 18 years old.
• (b) There will be four weekly draws between 1 June 2025 and 30 June 2025. The weekly draw is open to customers of the Mall (over the age of 18) who make a purchase with a minimum spend of $250 on TheMall.co.nz (“Qualifying Purchase”) between the following periods:
  • (i) 1-9 June 2025;
  • (ii) 9-16 June 2025;
  • (iii) 16-23 June 2025; and
  • (iv) 23-30 June 2025
  • (each a “Prize Draw Week”).
• (c) You are not eligible to enter the competition draw if you are our employee, an employee of any company including Auckland Airport, Aelia, PB Tech, Saben, Mountain Jade, eSIMMY or any other Duty-Free store or retailer that sells on The Mall directly associated with the competition, or directly involved in providing a prize for the competition, or an immediate family member of such employees.
• (d) Acting reasonably, we may exclude any person from entering into the competition draw.

3. ENTRY

• (a) There will be four weekly draws between 1 June 2025 and 30 June 2025. The weekly draw is open to customers of the Mall (over the age of 18) who make a purchase with a minimum spend of $250 on TheMall.co.nz (“Qualifying Purchase”) between the following periods:
  • (i) 1-9 June 2025;
  • (ii) 9-16 June 2025;
  • (iii) 16-23 June 2025; and
  • (iv) 23-30 June 2025
  • (each a “Prize Draw Week”).
• (b) You may enter the weekly competition by making a Qualifying Purchase on The Mall.co.nz in the Promotional Period. Shoppers can only purchase on the Mall if they are travelling.
• (c) Each time you complete a Qualifying Purchase on The Mall.co.nz you will automatically be entered into the draw for that Prize Draw Week. Each completed Qualifying Purchase will qualify as one entry into the draw for the applicable Prize Draw Week. Multiple completed Qualifying Purchases during the same Prize Draw Week will qualify as multiple entries for that Prize Draw Week.
• (d) We cannot accept responsibility for any lost, misplaced, illegible, damaged, stolen, late or incomplete entries.
• (e) We reserve the right to extend or change the Promotional Period.

4. PRIZES

• (a) Each Prize Draw Week, Auckland Airport will draw two (2) eligible entries to receive either one of the following prizes:
  • (i) 1 x $500 TheMall.co.nz voucher;
  • (ii) 1 x $250 PB Tech voucher;
• (b) The Conditions that apply to TheMall.co.nz voucher are:
  • (i) TheMall.co.nz voucher is to be spent on The Mall within a 12-month period.
  • (ii) The winner can only purchase on The Mall if they are travelling.
  • (iii) The voucher must be redeemed in one purchase. No change will be given.
• (c) The Conditions that apply to the PB Tech voucher are:
  • (i) The PB Tech voucher is to be spent on PB Tech within a 12-month period.
  • (ii) The winner can only redeem the voucher in PB Tech stores or on PB Tech’s online store website. The PB Tech voucher is subject to PB Tech’s terms and conditions here.
• (d) General conditions that apply to the Prizes are:
  • (i) Prizes cannot be redeemed for cash and cannot be transferred or exchanged.
  • (ii) The prizes will be awarded on a first come first served basis – i.e. if you are the first customer to reply following the draw you can choose your prize. There is no spend threshold for this entry.
  • (iii) Any additional fees, charges, taxes are to be covered by the prize winners.
  • (iv) If a Prize is not available for any reason, we reserve the right to substitute the Prize with another prize of similar value.
  • (v) The Prize is taken entirely at the prize winner's own risk. The Prize winner is responsible for any tax or other costs arising in relation to, or associated with the Prize. You acknowledge that (to the extent permitted by law) we are not liable, and you release and indemnify us and any persons associated with the competition in respect of any claim, for any accident, injury, death, property damage and other losses that may occur in connection with the competition or any Prize.
  • (vi) We may amend or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time.
  • (vii) These Terms and Conditions are governed by New Zealand law and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.

5. WINNING

• (a) Weekly draws will be made on the following Monday. Winners will be determined by random draw. Only a person who originally entered the competition draw is eligible to win a prize.
• (b) We will notify the Prize winner[s] by the email provided when entering setting out the details of how the Prize can be claimed.
• (c) If a Prize winner fails to claim the Prize within 10 days of initially being notified, the Prize will be forfeited. In those circumstances, we reserve the right to offer the prize either to the entrant whose name is next drawn at random or in a future competition.
• (d) We may, at any time, verify the validity of a person that has entered the competition draw (including a person’s identify, age and place of residence).
• (e) We may refuse to award the Prize to any person who has, in our view, acted in a fraudulent manner, breached these Terms or gained an unfair advantage in participating in the competition.
• (f) We are committed to respecting your privacy at all times. By entering the Competition you agree to our Privacy Policy that can be found here.
• (g) Our determination of the prize winners will be final and binding, and no correspondence or other communication will be entered into.

DEFINED TERMS AND INTERPRETATION

In these Terms, the following words have the following special meanings:
"Terms" means these competition terms and conditions (as amended from time to time);
"we", "our", "us" means Auckland International Airport Limited; and
"you" means a person entering the competition.
