X-T50
My Experience, My Color

Classic Design
FUJIFILM X-T50 inheritates the X-T Series design that suggests the close resemblance of a classic film camera. The compact body weighs just 438g (0.96lb)*. Combined with the sleek design and ergonomic styling, it's a joy to use wherever your creative journey takes you.
*Including battery and memory card

Rounded Body Shape
FUJIFILM X-T50 incorporates a new, rounded body shape. While slightly larger than the predecessor X-T30 II model, the styling makes it feel small without compromising handling. The thumb grip extends smoothly outward compared to previous models, providing an impressive overall feel and grip on the body.

Film Simulation Dial
FUJIFILM X-T50 features all-new Film Simulation dial on the top plate. Choosing the Film Simulation has never been easier. It is as simple as turning the dial. There are 20 Film Simulation modes to choose from, including the latest "REALA ACE". Enjoy our color science that we have cultivated since our establishment in 1934.

Dial Operation
FUJIFILM X-T50 houses shutter speed, exposure compensation, and all-new Film Simulation dials on the top-plate. Together with the aperture ring on most XF lenses, settings can be checked and adjusted, even without turning the camera on, leaving you to concentrate on what matters most: making the perfect image.

Electronic Viewfinder
FUJIFILM X-T50 features a 2.36 million dot electronic viewfinder (EVF) with a 0.62x magnification ratio. The specially designed lens elements provide a high-definition live view, and includes an adjustable diopter control to provide a truly comfortable experience.

Tilting LCD
FUJIFILM X-T50 incorporates a tilting LCD, which offers enhanced versatility, particularly when working at waist level. The combination of tilting LCD and center viewfinder aligns the lens, camera, and photographer on the optical axis, for a more comfortable and intuitive image-making experience.

Cutting-Edge Image Quality
FUJIFILM X-T50's fifth-generation X-Trans CMOS 5 HR sensor, X-Processor 5 imaging engine, and up to 7.0-stop in-body image stabilization (IBIS) combine to deliver the highest image quality yet for X Series in a small, light body.

X-TRANS CMOS 5HR - High Resolution 40.2MP BSI Imaging Sensor
The high-resolution 40.2MP X-Trans CMOS 5 HR sensor has an enhanced image-processing algorithm that boosts resolution without compromising the signal-to-noise ratio, delivering astonishing image quality.

X-Processor 5 - Twice the processing speed of X-Processor 4
- AI processing technology
- Next generation HEIF image file format
- Reduced power consumption

7.0-stop IBIS - Lightweight, High Performance
A five-axis in-body image stabilization (IBIS) system provides up to 7.0 stops of compensation. Despite this, the camera body only weighs 438g including battery and memory card.

Improved Features
FUJIFILM X-T50 has further enhanced its features such as autofocus and ISO sensitivity when compared to its predecessor FUJIFILM X-T30 II.
Subject Detection Autofocus
FUJIFILM X-T50 uses X-Processor 5's subject detection AF to accurately track a range of subjects. Built using deep-learning AI technology, it detects animals, birds, cars, motorcycles, bicycles, airplanes, trains, insects, and drones.*
*Set the SUBJECT DETECTION SETTING to BIRD for insect detection, and to AIRPLANE for detecting drones.

Updated AF Algorithm
FUJIFILM X-T50 incorporates an impressive autofocus prediction algorithm for reliable focusing even when recording continuously moving subjects. Autofocus enhancements are most notable in Zone AF and low-contrast situations.

ISO 125 Standard Sensitivity
The X-Trans CMOS 5 HR sensor in FUJIFILM X-T50 has a more light-efficient pixel structure. A setting of ISO 125, which on the prior model, FUJIFILM X-T30 II was only an extended sensitivity option, is now available natively on the FUJIFILM X-T50.

S/N Level / Low-Light Power
The high-resolution 40.2MP X-Trans CMOS 5 HR sensor has an enhanced image-processing algorithm that boosts resolution without compromising the signal-to-noise ratio. Astonishing image quality is in the palm of your hand.

Expanding Your Creativity
Add extra options to your image-making journey by combining FUJIFILM X-T50's unique Film Simulation modes with other creative features. Use analog effects such as film grain, or boost color depth, clarity, or sharpness to elevate your images, and take full control of highlight and shadow tones to dramatically expand your creative palette. A truly bespoke photographic adventure awaits.

Film Simulation
The 20 Film Simulation modes offered by FUJIFILM X-T50, including the new REALA ACE mode, harness 90 years of Fujifilm color science, digitally replicating the look of classic photographic film stocks. Reproduce the classic colors and tones Fujifilm is renowned for, or add artistic flair to your photographic journey.
PROVIA/STANDARD
Based on FUJICHROME PROVIA, a reversal film designed for professional use, this Film Simulation mode caters for all subject types, offering a neutral color reproduction.

REALA ACE
Based on REALA ACE, this 20th Film Simulation combines faithful color reproduction with hard tonality, making it suitable for all subjects and situations.

Classic Chrome
Designed to reproduce a look similar to documentary magazines of the 20th century. Classic Chrome's low saturation and hard tonal gradation in shadows make it a perfect choice for documentary photography with a touch of realism.

CLASSIC Neg.
Based on SUPERIA, a color negative film loved by generations of photographers, this Film Simulation mode provides high-contrast tonal gradation. It adds depth and definition to colors by adjusting their shades in highlights and shadows, while reducing saturation.

Velvia/VIVID
Based on FUJICHROME Velvia, an ultra-vivid reversal film designed for professionals, this Film Simulation mode provides richer and more high-contrast colors than the PROVIA/STANDARD. It is a favorite of landscape photographers.

ASTIA/SOFT
Based on FUJICHROME ASTIA, a reversal film designed for fashion portraiture, this mode prioritizes soft and faithful reproduction of skin tones, while also depicting vivid blue skies and greenery.

PRO Neg. Std
Based on PRO160NS, a color negative film for professionals, this Film Simulation mode has a soft tonal gradation and excellent skin tone reproduction. Ideal for portrait photography under carefully controlled lighting. The neutral tonality renders itself well to post-processing.

NOSTALGIC Neg.
Designed to recreate the look of images in old photo albums, NOSTALGIC Neg. produces images with rich colors in the shadows - and a soft tonality through the midtones and highlights.

ACROS
Based on ACROS, a monochrome film renowned for super-fine grain, this Film Simulation mode delivers rich shadow details and excellent sharpness, while still adding grain at high ISOs, and recreating the stunning textured feel of monochrome.

Grain Effect
From subtle textures to the gritty look of traditional high-ISO film stocks, with FUJIFILM X-T50 you can easily add natural-looking grain to your photos. Control the strength and size for just the right amount of texture on any image.

Color Chomre Effect
For highly-saturated subjects, Color Chrome Effect adds depth, detail, and vibrancy in three strengths to red, green, or yellow tones where detail may otherwise be lost.

Color Chrome FX Blue
Adds more depth and naturally enhances the vividness of the color.

Clarity
The Clarity control lets you decide whether to recreate a scene with a crisp sharpness, defining edges and boosting contrast, or with a soft feel. With 11 levels of control, it's easy to fine-tune to your personal taste and style.

Monochromatic Color
Monochromatic Color allows you to choose a key color from a matrix of Warm / Cool tones and Magenta / Green hues. You can incorporate the rich gradation into your images to create photographs with a personal twist.

Manipulating Images
White Balance
Fine adjustments can be made to Auto White Balance (AWB) by selecting one of three modes: Auto, White Priority, and Ambience Priority. Set to White Priority, white is more likely to be reproduced as white under incandescent lighting. However, when Ambience Priority is set, scenes will be photographed with the natural lighting characteristics of the scene preseved. Under incandescent lighting, this will generally result in images with warmer white tones.
- Mode - Automatic Scene Recognition
- Custom Custom - 1~3 Size / Area Selectable
- Color Temperature Selection - 2,500K -10,000K
- Preset - Daylight, Shade, Fluorescent Light (Daylight), Fluorescent Light (Warm White), Fluorescent Light (Cool White), Incandescent Light, Underwater

Multiple Exposure
Layer up to nine images in Additive, Average, Comparative Bright or Comparative Dark modes to combine multiple perspectives or different points in time. Various settings, including Film Simulations, can be applied to each exposure to produce a unique creative expression completely in-camera.

AUTO Mode
In AUTO mode, the camera automatically recognizes and sets optimal exposure settings for any scene. It also features auto subject detection where the camera automatically detects and tracks the subject, keeping it in focus. This eliminates the need to adjust the subject detection settings manually for easy image making. The AUTO mode can also be used for video.

Video Functionality
FUJIFILM X-T50 offers advanced video performance in a compact, lightweight body. Create movies up to 6.2K internally at 30p in 4:2:2 10-bit color. 4K/60p and high-speed 1080/240p are also available, maximizing video flexibility.
Improved Subject Tracking
Track subjects in your videos with ease. Select AF-C mode with Wide/Tracking AF, then simply touch the subject on the rear LCD. FUJIFILM X-T50 will track the object, even in situations where multiple subjects appear in the frame.

F-Log2 support
In addition to F-Log, FUJIFILM X-T50 also supports F-Log2, which records an expanded dynamic range of 13+ stops.* This range is wider than current F-Log, broadening post-production potential.
*When recording F-Log2, based on Fujifilm internal testing.

Connectivity
Compatible with Frame.io Camera to Cloud
Create, share and collaborate in an instant with FUJIFILM X-T50's native Frame.io Camera to Cloud technology. Wirelessly connect to an active internet connection, authenticate to Frame.io, and start uploading photos and videos at the moment of creation.

FUJIFILM XApp
FUJIFILM X-T50 is compatible with FUJIFILM XApp, offering extended functionality and simple image transfer to your smartphone. Files can be shared between camera and smartphone quickly, while the free, downloaded app also allows the camera to be operated remotely.
