The FD3 follows in the footsteps of its FD line siblings in using a newly designed 12mm flagship-level dynamic driver.Inside the FD3's striking shell lies a driver with a robustmagnet of 1.5 Tesla magnetic flux paired with an ultra-finecopper-clad aluminum Japanese Daikoku voice coil for an amazing,powerful sound.

Distinguished diamond heritage
The FD3 benefits from the numerous advantages of FiiO's new dynamic driver. The diaphragm is made of Diamond-Like Carbon(DLC) which is both impressively rigid and helps to reduce unneeded distortion yet also surprisingly light, allowing the driver to have excellent transient response. The result is a driver with excellent sound quality and minimal distortion with the added bonus of being ultra-sensitive.
Flagship-grade acoustic prism
The acoustic prism so effectively used in the flagship FD5 for great sound quality is also featured in the FD3. Like with the FD5, the acoustic prism system brings numerous benefits such as eliminating high frequency standing waves, enhancing overall sound wave diffusion, and even effectively solving the problem of time delay caused by sound wave propagation path in the cavity. This all leads to marvelous sound quality that will surely take your breath away.
Better sound with semi-open design
The semi-open design of the FD3 based on FiiO's technology for balanced air pressure within brings several advantages. Not only does such a design lead to more natural sound, but it also effectively protects your hearing by balancing air pressure within the FD3 leading to less pressure on your eardrums. This makes your listening experienceless tiring and the sound less forced.
Form and function arc into one
The FD3 has a simple, yet beautiful appearance based on the theme of curves. The unique celluloid panel is covered with 2.5D film coating glass for a pure yet fresh transparent look. And the aluminum-magnesium alloy of the body makes the FD3 exceptionally light, making it easier and more pleasurable to carry around.

FiiO has always been concerning about exceptional high quality craftsmanship, and the FD3 is no exception to this rule. The aluminum-magnesium alloy main body is made inan industrial process combining five-axis CNC processing and hand polishing. The pin-point precision of machinery and the delicate touch only possible by human hands come together to create a phenomenal piece in the FD3.
Dial in your sound
The well-received interchangeable sound tubes on the FD5 that so well symbolize it as a flagship also make an appearance on the FD3. While the outer diameter of the sound tubes is the same, the inner diameter differs for each sound tube. Pick the large inner diameter tube (black) for detailed treble, and choose the small inner diameter tube (red) for robust bass. Let your inner perfectionist be happy with the ability to dial in your sound perfectly.
Well-equipped from start to finish
Each of the FD3 cable's numerous features has been carefully designed to truly enhance your experience. The cable adopts an expanded MMCX connector for easier cable changes; the curved audio plug design makes it easier to plug into; and 4 strands of high-purity monocrystalline copper wires for a total of 120 wires make your music and vocals simply vivid.

As an international traveller you are entitled to bring a certain amount/value of goods that are free of Customs duty and exempt Goods and Services tax (GST) into New Zealand. This is called your duty free allowance and personal goods concession. It is important to review these for any purchases you make on The Mall.
Your duty free allowance entitles you to bring into New Zealand the following quantities of alcohol products free of customs duty and GST provided you are over 17 years of age. You do need to be 18 years or over to purchase.
- Up to six bottles (4.5 litres) of wine, champagne, port or sherry or
- Up to twelve cans (4.5 litres) of beer
- And three bottles (or other containers) each containing not more than 1125ml of spirits, liqueur, or other spirituous beverages
Goods other than alcohol and tobacco, whether purchased overseas or purchased duty free in New Zealand, that have a combined total value not exceeding NZ$700 may also be brought as part of your personal goods concession.
When travelling overseas there are legal limits on the amount of duty free alcohol and other goods you can take with you. These amounts will vary depending on the country you are flying into. We always recommend you check the latest limits and exemptions.
Your order can be picked up at an Auckland Airport Collection Point. There is one in departures and one at arrivals in the international terminal. Alternatively, if you are arriving between 11pm and 6am you will be able to collect your order from our lockers. See map
Please bring your order confirmation email and your passport. If you are collecting from lockers you will have been sent an email with your access code, be sure to have this on you in order to collect your order.
If you’re departing Auckland Airport, we recommend that you come to the Auckland Airport Collection Point at least 60 minutes before your flight. If you miss your pickup time or your flight details have changed please let us know as soon as possible.
When you collect your order you will have the opportunity to inspect the items and sign for them.
If you need to return an item, our Collection Point team are there to help you. If you are collecting after hours please return the item to your locker and our team will be in touch as soon as possible. After Hours Collections
If your order needs to be collected after the Auckland Airport Collection Point desk is closed, your order will be placed in the lockers next to the desk. All the details you will need to collect your order will be provided in your Order Confirmation and Ready to Collect Email.
