- Footnotes
- [1] Apple Intelligence is available in beta on all Mac models with M1 and later, with Siri and device language set to English (Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa, UK or US), as a macOS Sequoia update. Additional features and Chinese (Simplified), English (India, Singapore), French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese (Brazil) and Spanish language support available in early April, with more languages coming over the course of the year, including Vietnamese. Some features may not be available in all regions or languages.
- [2] Screen size is measured diagonally. The displays on the 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Air have rounded corners at the top. When measured as a standard rectangular shape, the screens are 13.6 inches and 15.3 inches diagonally (actual viewable area is less).
- [3] Testing conducted by Apple in January 2025 using preproduction 13-inch MacBook Air systems with Apple M4, 10-core CPU and 8-core GPU, and preproduction 15-inch MacBook Air systems with Apple M4, 10-core CPU and 10-core GPU, all configured with 16GB of RAM and 256GB SSD. Wireless web battery life tested by browsing 25 popular websites while connected to Wi-Fi. Video streaming battery life tested with 1080p content in Safari while connected to Wi-Fi. All systems tested with display brightness set to eight clicks from bottom and keyboard backlight off. Battery life varies by use and configuration; see apple.com/nz/batteries for more information.
- [4] 1GB = 1 billion bytes and 1TB = 1 trillion bytes; actual formatted capacity less.
- [5] Wi-Fi 6E available in countries and regions where supported.
- [6] See support.apple.com/en-nz/102596 for supported models.
- [7] Weight varies by configuration and manufacturing process.
- [8] iPhone Mirroring is not available in all countries and regions. Some iPhone features (such as camera and microphone) are not compatible with iPhone Mirroring.
- [9] iMovie, GarageBand, Pages, Numbers and Keynote are available on the Mac App Store. Downloading apps requires an Apple Account and a device that is compatible with the OS version required for each app.
- [10] Data is accurate as of product launch.
- [11] Product recycled or renewable content is the mass of certified recycled material relative to the overall mass of the device, not including packaging or in-box accessories.
- [12] We estimate the percentage of electricity-related emissions in our manufacturing that is sourced from low-carbon electricity by attributing to our carbon model low-carbon energy procured by our suppliers in the prior fiscal year, based on the supplier manufacturing allocations at time of product launch. This calculation assesses the suppliers for MacBook Air. Included in this number is only low-carbon electricity that Apple or its suppliers have procured as part of Apple's Supplier Clean Energy Program.
- [13] Carbon reductions are calculated against a product-specific business-as-usual scenario as modelled by Apple: 1) No use of clean electricity for manufacturing or product use, beyond what is already available on the latest modelled grid (based on regional emissions factors). 2) Apple's carbon intensity of key materials as of 2015 (our baseline year for our 2030 product carbon neutrality goal). Carbon intensity of materials reflects use of recycled content and production technology. 3) Apple's average mix of transportation modes (air, rail, ocean, ground) by product line and by region across three years (fiscal years 2017 to 2019) to best capture the baseline transportation emissions of our products.
- [14] Based on retail packaging as shipped by Apple. Breakdown of US retail packaging by weight. Adhesives, inks and coatings are excluded from our calculations of plastic content and packaging weight.
- [15] ENERGY STAR and the ENERGY STAR mark are registered trademarks owned by the US Environmental Protection Agency.
- [16] Apple's Regulated Substances Specification describes Apple's restrictions on the use of certain chemical substances in materials in Apple products, accessories, manufacturing processes, and packaging used for shipping products to Apple's end-customers. Restrictions are derived from international laws or directives, regulatory agencies, eco-label requirements, environmental standards and Apple policies. Every Apple product is free of PVC and phthalates except for AC power cords in India, Thailand (for two-prong AC power cords) and South Korea, where we continue to seek government approval for our PVC and phthalates replacement. Apple products comply with the European Union Directive 2011/65/EU and its amendments, including exemptions for the use of lead such as high-temperature solder. Apple is working to phase out the use of these exempted substances for new products where technically possible.
As an international traveller you are entitled to bring a certain amount/value of goods that are free of Customs duty and exempt Goods and Services tax (GST) into New Zealand. This is called your duty free allowance and personal goods concession. It is important to review these for any purchases you make on The Mall.
Your duty free allowance entitles you to bring into New Zealand the following quantities of alcohol products free of customs duty and GST provided you are over 17 years of age. You do need to be 18 years or over to purchase.
- Up to six bottles (4.5 litres) of wine, champagne, port or sherry or
- Up to twelve cans (4.5 litres) of beer
- And three bottles (or other containers) each containing not more than 1125ml of spirits, liqueur, or other spirituous beverages
Goods other than alcohol and tobacco, whether purchased overseas or purchased duty free in New Zealand, that have a combined total value not exceeding NZ$700 may also be brought as part of your personal goods concession.
When travelling overseas there are legal limits on the amount of duty free alcohol and other goods you can take with you. These amounts will vary depending on the country you are flying into. We always recommend you check the latest limits and exemptions.
